David Domoney

David Domoney is a Fellow of the London Colleges of Horticulture, Fellow of the Warwickshire Colleges of Horticulture and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute of Horticulture. He is a recipient of a very impressive 36 RHS medals, including golds at the Chelsea Flower Show, a hat trick of RHS best in show trophies, and HRH Duke of Edinburgh Prince Edward personally chose David to receive his Award of Excellence in Horticulture for 2019.

David has presented many successful TV Shows including Better Homes (ITV), House of Horrors (ITV), 60 Minute Make Over (ITV), Garden ER (C5), Grow Your Own (ITV), Spring into Summer (ITV), to name just a few. Currently, David can be seen on ITV’s Love Your Weekend and Love Your Garden, which he has co-presented with Alan Titchmarsh for over 12 years. He is also the resident gardening expert on This Morning (ITV) and has been a firm part of the family for 20 years.

David regularly writes for several of the national newspapers and is a successful author. His latest book on the mental & physical wellbeing of growing indoor plants, My House Plant Changed my Life, is a best seller. He operates on all the social media platforms with a combined following of three quarters of a million, with his biggest following being over a quarter of a million on Pinterest.

David is a popular choice for lectures and wellbeing talks, delivering talks on physical & mental wellbeing by engaging with nature & natural harmonising of life immersed in today’s technology with the simple restorative engagement of plants, gardens & nature. He has provided talks for The Eden project, RHS Hampton Court, Royal Botanical Gardens Edinburgh, Chartered Institute of Horticulture and Commonwealth War Graves Commission.

His love and passion for the garden and nature have led him to become a patron/ambassador for many charitable organisations, including Greenfingers, British Hedgehog Preservation Society, RSPB, SANE and the Chartered Institute of Horticulture.

David lives in the Warwickshire countryside with his wife Adele and 3 young children. When he isn’t teaching the children about plants and nature, he is producing his own food. He has a 100-tree olive grove producing oil, he keeps bees and makes honey, and has substantial fruit and vegetable growing areas, orchards, and herb gardens on his farm grounds.

Something you might not know about David, is that he is a qualified Master Scuba Diver and rides a Vulcan V800 motorcycle!
