At Disney, Rafe pioneered the team that connected Disney characters to teens and adults, leading the creation of the "having fun never goes out of style" campaign. During his time as Global Marketing Director, Rafe oversaw a staggering growth in adult merchandise sales from $50 million to $800 million worldwide.
About Rafe Offer
At Coca-Cola, Rafe was responsible for $1.2 billion of global sales, further cementing his reputation as a brand and innovation expert. As Director of Innovation at Diageo, he created an entrepreneurial business unit tasked with finding new revenue sources while strengthening core drinks business and brands.
In 2009, Rafe combined his passion for live music, entrepreneurial spirit, and expertise in brand management and innovation to found Sofar Sounds. Since then, he has grown the company from an event in a London living room into the world’s largest international network of live music events. His leadership and vision have seen the company raise three successful rounds of funding, totalling $40 million, and become one of the top new brands in America.
Even after handing over the day-to-day running of Sofar, Rafe continues to create meaningful startups. He founded this & that, a community and tech startup dedicated to the research, understanding, and facilitation of dialogue, and sits on the board of Twenty Recruitment, one of the world’s fastest-growing recruitment companies.
Rafe’s passion for making a positive impact extends beyond the business world. He chairs the board of Facing History UK, a charity dedicated to teaching the lessons of history to help end racism, and sits on the board of the Live Music Society, a charity supporting venues from closing due to COVID-19.
