About Kathryn Parsons

Founded over a decade ago, Decoded has become a global leader in AI and digital skills training, delivering academies, bootcamps, apprenticeships and leadership programmes to organisations seeking to build future-ready workforces. Today, Kathryn focuses on working with senior leaders and executive teams, helping them navigate technological change, understand the opportunities presented by AI and develop strategies for long-term growth and innovation.

Alongside her work with business leaders, Kathryn conducts independent research into the impact of technology on business, government and society. Her recent work has examined AI readiness and deployment strategies among major global organisations, while she has also brought together founders, investors and policymakers to help shape the UK’s approach to innovation, entrepreneurship and growth in the AI economy.

A respected commentator on technology and business, Kathryn regularly contributes to The Sunday Times Business and The Financial Times, sharing insights on artificial intelligence, digital transformation and the future of work. She has also explored global technology trends as the producer of a BBC Radio series examining the technological capabilities of major world powers.

Beyond her commercial work, Kathryn has played an influential role in shaping UK policy and education. She successfully campaigned for coding to be introduced into the national curriculum and was awarded an MBE for Services to Education. She has advised Number 10 Downing Street, HM Treasury, the Mayor of London and the Department for Business, and continues to work closely with founders, investors and policymakers to support innovation and economic growth.

As a keynote speaker, Kathryn combines deep expertise in AI and emerging technologies with practical experience helping organisations adapt to change.
