About Dominic Woodward

Dominic began his comedy career young and wide eyed back in 2001, now with over 20 years of experience on the UK comedy scene he’s a safe pair of hands. He’s cheeky, charming, full of energy and hilarious.

Now married with children, Dominic weaves side-splitting stories about his life in Ramsbottom and tells belly aching jokes that hit the mark with all audiences. There’s a twinkle in his eyes as he jokes about eccentric people he meets. His act is warm, personal and inoffensive.

You’ll hear about his children, his GP wife and the very peculiar folk of the Lancashire town where he lives (yes Lancashire – not Greater Manchester if you please!).

Dominic’s act is a pleasing modern twist on traditional comedy, successfully fusing jokes with a refreshing approach that is pleasing to the ear. Often with a tongue in the cheek and a raised eyebrow, but never crossing the line. It’s this approach that has made him a regular act for Warner Leisure Hotels. Dominic has become in demand at some of the best hotels around the world, as well as Warner Leisure Hotels and for Tui Holidays in Cyprus, Crete and Turkey in their 5 star Sensatori Hotels. Dominic has provided recent corporate entertainment for: BMW, Vauxhall, Scottish Power, Asda, Caprino Pizza, Wooden Spoon Rugby Charity and many more.

Dominic’s mirthful act means he is always in demand as a comedian and as a compere. He had performed in comedy clubs all over the UK including the prestigious Comedy Store, The Frog and Bucket and the Hot Water Comedy Club.
