Booking an awards host is a hugely important part of any awards ceremony. The Speakers Agency have a hugely versatile and impressive list of event and award hosts for live functions and virtual events. A truly eclectic choice, they come from the worlds of celebrity, journalism, TV, presenting and news, and deliver first class hosting skills ensuring your event runs smoothly.

The Speakers Agency use a simple, smooth booking process that has been established over many years in the industry to provide hundreds of audiences with incredible awards hosts.

See a break-down of our booking process below and hire your ideal awards host today!

  1. Put together an event brief

The first step towards securing an awards host for your event is to put together a brief which compiles all the information about your awards ceremony. This includes information such as if the ceremony is live or virtual, the venue, the audience size and demographic and your available budget. Including additional info such as event marketing (if any) and whether your ceremony needs to be recorded is also really useful!

Once you have compiled your brief, be sure to send it to us either via our contact form, email enquiries@thespeakersagency.com or call us on +44 (0) 1332 810481.

  1. Browse our suggestions

When we have received your event brief The Speakers Agency will provide you with a shortlisted set of recommendations of awards hosts that fit all your specific requirements. We will direct you to their website pages so you can view their speech topics, watch videos of them speaking, and browse our suggestions freely. Once you have browsed our recommendations, you can select the awards host who most appeals to you and your specific audience.

  1. Confirm the booking

Once you have selected your choice of speaker, The Speakers Agency will get the ball rolling on confirming the booking and providing you with a contract to sign. Depending on the nature of the event and the awards host you have selected, you may be entitled to a maximum 30-minute briefing call prior to the event in order to chat with the speaker about event specificities etc.

If you are looking to book an awards host, please email enquiries@thespeakersagency.com or call us on +44 (0) 1332 810481.

*On certain occasions, usually for a very high-profile speaker, we will require you to sign a Firm Offer Form in advance which is slightly different to our usual Booking Form. In simple terms, this commits you to the booking at a slightly earlier stage than signing a normal Booking Contract. It serves as a formal and binding offer to the awards host and lets them know that if they accept the invitation host, this is essentially a done deal that you are already committed to proceeding with. In most cases, this is not necessary, but do not hesitate to ask one of our friendly booking agents if you would like further clarity on how this works!
