About Jimmy Carr
Jimmy Carr is one of the most original and distinctive stars on television. He was a guest presenter on the series of ‘Have I Got News For You’ (BBC2). Also, as the face of comedy on Channel 4, Jimmy hosted the new prime time game show ‘Distraction’, and co-hosted both series of its hugely successful hit game show ‘Your Face Or Mine’.
Back in 2003 Jimmy could be seen presenting Channel 4’s ‘100 Worst Pop Records’, following his other appearances as host of ‘100 Worst Britons’ and ‘100 Scary Moments’.

Its two week run at London’s Soho Theatre was also a sell-out hit, and Jimmy received rave reviews for the show, including 5* reviews from four major newspapers.
UK television guest appearances include ‘Des O’Connor Comedy Tonight’ (ITV, Aug 03) ‘Have I Got News For You’ (as panellist, BBC2, May 03), ‘The Royal Variety Show’ (BBC1, Dec 02) and ‘Peter Cook: A Posthumourous Tribute’ (BBC2, Dec 02. He has performed a remarkable three times within five months on US TV, NBC’s ‘Tonight With Jay Leno’, and twice on NBC’s ‘Late Night with Conan O’Brien’.

He is also is a regular guest at the prestigious Kilkenny Festival in Ireland.
