About Gyles Brandreth
With a career spanning broadcasting, politics, publishing and theatre, Gyles has remained a familiar face on British television and radio for decades. He is widely known for appearances on programmes including Celebrity Gogglebox, QI, Have I Got News for You, Pointless, The One Show, Would I Lie to You?, Sunday Brunch and This Morning, while also being one of the long-standing regulars on BBC Radio 4’s Just a Minute since the 1980s.
A highly experienced live performer and speaker, Gyles is renowned for his ability to entertain audiences with a mix of anecdote, insight and humour drawn from an extraordinary career. As a former Member of Parliament and Lord Commissioner of the Treasury, he offers unique perspectives on public life, communication and leadership, while his work as a writer and broadcaster has made him one of Britain’s best-known raconteurs.
