About Simone Heng
Simone Heng is a globally recognised keynote speaker and human connection specialist, working with leading organisations such as Salesforce, UBS, Google, AIA, Manulife, TEDx, The United Nations, and many more. A former international broadcaster with 15 years of experience, Simone is an exceptional communicator who brings authenticity and energy to every stage, screen, and interaction. Her expertise spans keynote talks, event hosting, and executive presentation coaching – both in-person and virtually.
Born in Singapore and raised in Australia, Simone’s diverse heritage (Chinese, Indian, French, Vietnamese, Thai, Malay, Bengali, and Cambodian) and her international career – spanning Switzerland, Australia, the UAE, and Singapore – have given her a deep intercultural understanding and unique global perspective. She holds a degree in Communications and Cultural Studies from Curtin University of Technology and has studied speechwriting under Tony Blair’s former speechwriter, Phillip Collins.
Simone’s passion for authentic human connection stems from both personal and professional experiences. A poignant on-air moment during her broadcasting career, coupled with her mother’s degenerative illness, deepened her belief that real connection is one of today’s most valuable – and overlooked – superpowers. This belief underpins her mission to help individuals and organisations communicate with empathy, build meaningful relationships, and create workplaces where people thrive.
As a seasoned broadcaster, Simone has worked with CNBC, CNN, HBO Asia, and Virgin Radio Dubai, and has been featured in Harper’s Bazaar, Esquire, Elle, and The Guardian. She is also a sought-after executive coach, working with clients ranging from senior Amazon executives to Forbes 30 Under 30 awardees, helping leaders find their authentic voice.
With over 100,000 social media followers, Simone is also a trusted influencer in the fields of communication and leadership. She currently lives in Singapore with her partner and her Cavalier King Charles Spaniel, Charlie.
