About Stef Reid

Stef Reid stands as a symbol of breaking barriers and excelling in every aspect of life.

At 15, a major accident shattered her rugby aspirations, but Stef didn’t let that stop her. She adapted, using a carbon fiber prosthetic leg to carve out a victorious new journey. She won the IPC World Champion title in Long Jump in 2017, participated in four Paralympics (2008, 2012, 2016, 2021), and secured three Paralympic medals, all while setting five world records in track and field.

Beyond her athletic achievements, Stef, armed with a biochemistry honours degree, has made significant strides as a keynote speaker, broadcaster, executive coach, actor, and model. She broke new ground as the first amputee model at London Fashion Week and demonstrated her versatility and resilience by reaching the quarterfinals of “Dancing on Ice 2022,” challenging perceptions of what’s possible, regardless of physical limitations.

Closing a remarkable 18-year chapter in Paralympic sports in June 2022, Stef has now dedicated herself to inspiring others to achieve excellence in their own lives, leveraging her journey as a testament to the power of determination and adaptability.
