About India Willoughby

With numerous appearances on shows such as Good Morning BritainLorraine and This Morning, India caused world headlines when she shook the Celebrity Big Brother house, challenging preconceptions and myths about gender and love.

Her motto: It’s never too late to change your life.

Before transitioning, India very nearly became a professional footballer – winning a trial with Carlisle United! During her career as a tv presenter and journalist, India has interviewed the likes of Priscilla Presley, Jonathan Ross, Caitlin Jenner, Tony Blair and Margaret Thatcher.

India is a former British LGBT Award nominee, for her break-through work in broadcasting; and a former winner of the ‘Diversity In Media Moment of the Year Award’ for becoming the first trans woman to co-host an episode of Loose Women.

India has also written numerous articles for the Daily Mirror, Mail on Sunday and The Independent on subjects including cosmetic surgery (India’s a fan), gender, and television shows.

India is currently writing a book about her extraordinary life as one of the world’s first trans celebrities.
