Harnaam Kaur
Harnaam Kaur is a body positivity warrior, motivational speaker, model, world record holder and activist. Drawing upon her battle scars and struggles as a bullied teenager, Harnaam inspires people across the globe to embrace their beauty, whatever form it comes in!
About Harnaam Kaur
Harnaam Kaur was born and raised in England. She has Polycystic Ovarian Syndrome and spent a lot of time during her youth removing body hair to avoid taunts from her peers. Driven to self-harm, she decided at age 16 to instead embrace her body in all its glory.
Harnaam Kaur has spent many years now embracing her body and her beauty and encouraging others to do the same. She holds the world record for being the youngest female with a full beard. This self-love brought a positive change to her life, which she now shares with the world in the form of education, public speaking, modelling, and media. Harnaam has spoken in the Houses of Parliament, taken center stage with her own TEDxTalk, been featured in publications the world over, filmed an international advertisement for a music-streaming service, strutted catwalks, and spoken to teenagers and adults alike about diversity and self-acceptance.
Recently, Harnaam created a report on social media and body image for the British Council Youth Select Committee. She spoke at the Stylist Live 2017 and 2018 events each with an audience of over 2,000 people, and successfully ran a body positive event at LUSH HQ that live-streamed to over 12,000 viewers on the first night. She has featured on Channel5’s ‘House of Extraordinary People’. She has also featured in Cosmopolitan, Glamour, teenvogue, Grazia, Porter magazine, and many more.
Her previous speaking clients include Johnson & Johnson, Facebook, Google, Deutsche Bank, Timely, UK TV.
She has also spoken at huge events such as: World Pride in NYC, The Human Rights Conference, The Houses of Parliament and done social campaigns for: Coca Cola, Bumble, Netflix, Spotify, Virgin.
