Dija Ayodele
Dija Ayodele is a highly respected aesthetician and founder of Black Skin Directory. She founded this back in 2018 in order to help better connect people of colour to professional skincare in all of its facets.
About Dija Ayodele
Dija Ayodele has over ten years’ experience in understanding and treating skin health. The Black Skin Directory has twice won the Aesthetic Award and is a Vogue Beauty finalist. Dija is renowned for championing and advocating ensuring that tools are provided for people of colour to better understand their unique skincare needs.
Dija Ayodele is held in high regard for driving change in the beauty industry. Her work as an educator in diversity and authority on elevating beauty conversations for all, has seen her lead panel talks with the likes of the House of Commons, Stylist Live, Cosmoprof and Refinery29 and now is also a trustee at Beauty Backed.
Understanding that championing change is as much about educating and providing resources from a B2B perspective, Dija also hosts workshops for industry professionals and organisations on how to attract and serve consumers of colour. Dija’s previous clients include the likes of: Soho House Group’s Cowshed, Aesthetic journal and Aesthetic Medicine Journal.
In November 2021, Dija released her first book ‘Black Skin, The Definitive Skincare Guide.’
Dija has worked with big brands such as No7, Sainsbury’s, cantu shea butter, StriVectin and many more. She is available for Live demonstrations, panel discussions and Q&As.
