Debbie Wosskow OBE

Today, Debbie Wosskow is a prolific angel investor and Co-Chair of the UK government-backed Invest in Women Taskforce, working to unlock capital for female founders. She co-founded WJV, a boutique investment and strategic innovation firm championing diversity, wellness, and economic empowerment, and is a Founding Advisor to Smart Society Ventures.

Alongside her investment work, Debbie is Executive Chair of The Better Menopause, helping women perform at their best in midlife through science-backed solutions. She also holds influential advisory roles as a Non-Executive Director of Channel 4, Senior Advisor to McKinsey & Company, and Board Member of the Mayor of London’s Business Advisory Board and The Women’s Prize Trust (where she Chairs the Development Board).

A passionate advocate for female leadership and entrepreneurship, Debbie co-authored the business bestseller Believe, Build, Become: How to Supercharge Your Career (Penguin, 2019). She is also the author of the UK government’s influential Wosskow Review of the Sharing Economy and previously chaired Sharing Economy UK.

Her achievements have been widely recognised: she was named the Evening Standard Entrepreneur of the Year, awarded an OBE in 2016 for services to business, and received the Freedom of the City of London in 2019. Debbie studied Philosophy and Theology at New College, Oxford, and brings both intellectual rigour and lived entrepreneurial experience to every stage she speaks on.
