About Chrissie Reeves
Chrissie Reeves’s life is fascinating and madly busy. The mother of three, she spends her week coordinating weddings and location shoots at The West Mill whilst still maintaining her writing and broadcasting careers. During her time at OK Chrissie reported on the Oscars, the Cannes Film Festival, the BAFTAs, Paris Fashion Week with Jean Paul Gaultier, Royal Ascot and when Prince William and Catherine married on 11 April 2011, she covered the wedding. This secured her role as Royal Editor and a firm place within the infamous ‘royal press pack.’
Chrissie Reeves knew she wanted to write from a very early age and embarked on her career in journalism at the age of 18 when she was asked to join Vogue magazine whilst attending Lucie Clayton College in South Kensington.
After Vogue, she worked for Marie Claire, Empire, Bliss and Mizz, finally settling at OK! magazine for 15 years.
Chrissie’s first royal tour was with the Prince and Princess of Wales on their landmark trip to Australia and New Zealand in 2014 and she swiftly found herself attending weekly engagements with the couple. She also reported on the wedding of Prince Harry and Meghan Markle in 2017.
During this time she acquired an imoressice knowledge on the young royals and became particularly interested in what she now calls an ‘obsession’ with all royal fashion.
She also has a lot in common with the current Princess of Wales as both she and Kate navigated their way through their twenties on the gritty fashion circuit – they even did a shot of tequila together on one night out at Kitts Nightclub in Sloane Square back in 2007. The also both have a passion for designers and know all about juggling careers and being a mother of three.
Furthermore, Chrissie has been on every guest list including Garden parties at Buckingham Palace, royal briefings at Kensington Palace to tea parties at Number 10 and Elton John’s White Tie and Tiara ball at Windsor.
