Chris Frediani and Julian Perryman
Chris Frediani and Julian Perryman are Nick Knowles' DIY SOS & The Big Build teammates and are in great demand as a duo for speeches and personal appearances. Huge supporters of Apprentice Schemes and passionate about encouraging young people into trades, they love to demo DIY products and deliver how to work shops, and genuine builders and plasterers in their own right.
About Chris Frediani and Julian Perryman
Chris Frediani and Julian Perryman are great storytellers. They are also very funny and they share their immense expertise of their industry which is invaluable. They are great for audiences who want to learn the value of training and learning their trade or for those who would like to get a behind the scenes peek of The Big Build and DIY SOS.
Chris Frediani learnt to plaster the old-fashioned way, starting at the bottom of the trade at the age of 17 and working his way up. He has worked in Britain and abroad, on both modern and traditional projects. He’s been in DIY SOS since series one, and always has a positive attitude on the job in hand.
Julian Perryman started his career at 16, building houses with his father. He’s a skilled and versatile builder but is often kept busy on the show with less structural jobs like plastering. He has a broad knowledge of both modern and traditional properties and has a good sense of humour that never fails to brighten the most adverse of DIY situations.
Whilst appearing in the multiple series over 21 years they have also been running their own businesses and encouraging apprenticeship schemes.
