About Charlie Martin
Starting out with £1,500 from a summer job post-university and a can do attitude, Charlie Martin has overcome huge adversity to succeed in motorsport as her true self. She is a Stonewall Sports Champion and works as a public speaker outside of racing, helping organisations improve their commitment to inclusion by creating greater awareness and acceptance for the trans community.
Charlie featured in the Vogue 25, British Vogue Magazine’s celebration of inspiring women shaping the world in 2021 and beyond. She was also included in the Pride Power list,OUT Magazine 100 & Attitude 101.She is a keen trail runner, surfer and snowboarder, and adventure sports lover. She’s also a Ninja Warrior UK semi finalist, beating the wall first time !
