Throughout her broadcasting career, Anne has interviewed world leaders, politicians and celebrities across the globe — from Sydney Harbour to the Brandenburg Gate, from No.10 Downing Street to war-torn Bosnia. She went on to front Good Morning with Anne and Nick on BBC1 and remains a familiar and much-loved voice on BBC Radio Berkshire.

Beyond broadcasting, Anne is widely admired for her life-changing health advocacy. Following the tragic loss of her son Sebastian to cot death, she led the landmark 1991 ‘Back to Sleep’ campaign, which helped reduce SIDS rates in the UK by 80%. For this pioneering work, she became the first non-medic to receive the Gold Medal of the Royal College of Paediatrics and Child Health.

Anne has since campaigned passionately on issues including autism, cervical cancer, dyslexia, vaccinations and obesity, and serves as Patron of the National Obesity Forum. Her own journey with weight loss and bariatric surgery inspired her bestselling book Winning the Fat War and the acclaimed documentary Anne Diamond’s War on Fat. She also founded Buddy Power, a free online weight-loss support community supporting thousands of people nationwide.
