Diana Moran
Diana Moran is best known as the Green Goddess. A broadcaster and author specialising in health and fitness, Diana is a most motivating and entertaining speaker. She also presents corporate and charity videos and enjoys being Compere/Mistress of Ceremonies. In addition she is an excellent facilitator at conferences, corporate events and gala occasions. She is also an experienced After Dinner speaker.
About Diana Moran
Diana Moran is an all round television and radio personality with a career that has embraced success in many areas of the media. She enjoys helping people of all ages and abilities with her infectious enthusiasm. She has taught exercise and lectured on health and fitness extensively at health farms, holiday camps, sports centres and aboard cruise ships.
Diana Moran originally trained as a personnel and welfare officer working in a Bristol departmental store.
And it was during her 20’s that her career took a dramatic turn. During the 1960’s she was hugely successful as a fashion and photographic model.
She did this until the late 70’s continuing to cat walk her way through top fashion shows and undertaking photographic shoots around the world. Then progressed to organising, choreographing and presenting major spectacular fashion shows.
During the 70’s Diana became continuity announcer and newsreader for HTV West, and a freelance contributor and presenter for BBC Radio Bristol, and Radio West. Also during the 70’s she produced the Show Theatre at the annual Devon County Show in Exeter.
Her extensive experience in radio, television and the stage spans over 55 years. Today she writes books and articles, presents on Radio and TV, and facilitates conferences and corporate events. She specialises in women’s issues, ageism, health, fitness and beauty.
For many years Diana has devoted much time working with major cancer charities and cancer support, health and sport organisations, and many hospitals, promoting women’s health and well-being.
Heavily involved in the charity field, she plays a lead role in various charities, especially those concerned with cancer, cerebral palsy and older people.
Diana is a fully qualified teacher of exercise. In 1993 the Exercise Association of England presented her with their Special Achievement Award for her work in the fitness world over 25 years.
Diana has written numerous books including Beating Osteoporosis – The Facts, the Treatments, the Exercises and Sod Sitting and Get Moving. She is a regular contributor to magazines, newspapers and TV.
