Our Luncheon Club speakers are individuals who have lived extraordinary lives, and they bring their wealth of experience to the table—quite literally. They are the voices that fill the room with energy, insight, and a touch of magic, turning a simple meal into a memorable event. Picture this: an audience hanging on to every word, captivated by tales of adventure, history, or behind-the-scenes glimpses of the world’s most prestigious institutions.

Dame Jennie Murray describes her work with people in tragic or difficult circumstances and one reviewer wrote of Jenni as "an interviewer who for sensitivity and pointfulness (sic) leaves most others far behind". As presenter of BBC Radio's 'Woman's Hour', Dame Jenni Murray OBE demonstrated daily her incredible range and depth and a unique ability to understand the feelings and complexities of those she interviewed. The same talents she brought to Radio 4’s 'The Message', BBC TV’s Newsnight, Everyman and BBC Radio's Today and Tuesday Call. In late 2000 she brought her wit and wisdom to a couple of episodes of the revamped 'Loose Women – Live Talk' - for Granada TV. Also for Granada TV, Jenni presented three series of 'This Sunday' - a live look at issues across the entire religious spectrum. She wrote a weekly column for the Express - a great forum for her wit and ideas, and written proof of her versatility and depth. She also wrote for the Mail amongst many others. Away from page and broadcast Jenni is an accomplished conference facilitator and presenter - skilled at managing platform and audience with an incisive grasp of issues and impressive speaking skills.
