About Hayley Mulenda

Hayley has spoken on some of the world’s most prestigious stages, including Wembley Arena and Oslo Spektrum, and has partnered with global organisations including Microsoft at their Redmond headquarters, Google MENA, Meta MENA, JP Morgan, Unilever, Clifford Chance, Harrods, MBC, the Commonwealth Secretariat and The Government of Umm Al-Quwain.

Hayley specialises in three areas that define the future of work. The first is wellbeing, championing the power of being gracious to yourself and leading from a place of fulfilment rather than burnout. The second is personal branding, taught in a way that goes beyond profile and presence. Hayley helps leaders and entry-level talent alike become visible, build influence and create impact, so they can develop a personal brand that attracts the right clients, the right audience and the right opportunities. In today’s world, personal branding is no longer optional. It is necessary for talent development and for any organisation, and it is pivotal for generating real traction, sales and growth in a crowded digital landscape. The third is building a culture that bridges generations, helping C-suite and mid-level leaders better understand and engage their Gen Z and Gen Alpha teams so that every generation can build stronger relationships and thrive together.

After nearly taking her own life at the age of 18, Hayley experienced a profound turning point that reshaped her understanding of wellbeing, identity and leadership. That experience now underpins her work with senior leaders, where she advises executive teams on resilience, psychological safety, burnout prevention and sustainable high performance within high-pressure environments.

Her work with leaders includes keynote presentations, executive workshops and board-level conversations focused on emotional intelligence, generational engagement, communication and culture transformation. Hayley equips leaders to communicate with authenticity, lead with emotional intelligence and bridge generational divides within modern workplaces. Her strategies strengthen engagement between C-suite executives and emerging talent, improving retention, influence and long-term organisational culture.

Beyond the stage, Hayley serves on the DEI board of Wagamama and consults with executive teams across FTSE 100 and Fortune 50 companies on inclusive leadership, generational intelligence and human-centred performance. She has also contributed to the public sector, offering her expertise on social mobility and youth engagement to government officials and the Commonwealth Secretariat.

Her keynotes are described as transformative, strategic and unforgettable. Hayley does not simply inspire audiences. She challenges leaders to evolve.

Speech Topics

Be Visible: The Power of Personal Branding

A high-energy keynote tailored for client-facing professionals, sales teams, founders and leaders, exploring the power of visibility, communication and personal branding in driving revenue, influence and impact. This is not typical personal branding. In today’s world, personal branding is necessary for talent development and for any organisation, and it is pivotal for generating real traction, sales and growth in a crowded digital landscape.

In this session, Hayley explores how trust is the new currency and why people buy from and follow people they believe in. She teaches teams how to increase visibility internally and externally, strengthen executive presence, communicate with confidence and position themselves as authority figures within their industry. For C-suite leaders, this means standing out on LinkedIn and social media to drive presence externally while helping their teams feel more connected to them internally. For entry-level talent, it means building the confidence, communication and digital presence to be noticed and to grow.

The keynote also explores the psychology behind influence and buying behaviour, personal branding for professionals, how visibility shapes opportunities, trust and conversions, communication techniques that strengthen client relationships, and the importance of confidence, storytelling and connection.

Raising Gen Z and Gen Alpha

One of Hayley’s most requested talks and the heart of what she specialises in. A deep dive into understanding younger generations in the workplace, this keynote helps C-suite and mid-level leaders better understand and engage their Gen Z and Gen Alpha teams. Hayley shares practical retention strategies, the power of reverse mentoring and how to create cultures where younger talent feels valued, motivated and connected, so that every generation can build stronger relationships and thrive together.

Building Bridges, Not Walls

A keynote on inclusion, culture and communication, helping organisations build environments where people feel seen, heard and valued, both internally and externally. Hayley guides leaders on how to move beyond mere tolerance towards a vibrant, inclusive and supportive workplace where everyone can flourish.

Real Models, Not Role Models

A session on authenticity, vulnerability and leadership presence, exploring how transparency creates stronger trust, healthier teams and deeper connection. In a digitally savvy world where curated images often overshadow reality, Hayley argues that leaders do not need to be traditional role models. They need to be real models who inspire others to become the best version of themselves.

Human Beings, Not Human Doings

A keynote focused on reminding leaders that they are human first. Hayley speaks about wellbeing, burnout prevention, emotional intelligence and the importance of self-awareness in leadership, championing the power of being gracious to yourself. Leaders are reminded that people connect with them not because of what they do, but because of who they are.
