Presenting speaker and coach Alison Sharman is the latest addition to our incredible speakers list
Alison is a highly experienced TV Executive. She has worked at a senior level within the BBC, ITV and SBS Australia and now runs a TV production company in London. Her previous roles include Controller of BBC Daytime and was involved in the launching of many successful and award winning formats such as Masterchef, Strictly Come Dancing It Takes Two, Saturday Kitchen and Bargain Hunt.
After she was headhunted to become ITV’s first Director of Factual and Daytime she was responsible for revitalising the channel’s performance and reputation and remains the only individual to hold such a title at ITV. In this time she launched numerous successful and well loved programmes including the BAFTA award winning Long Lost Family and Paul O’Grady’s For The Love Of Dogs. In addition she commissioned several long running daytime series such as The Chase and Tipping Point.
Alison has a particular interest in women’s leadership, she mentored many of her own staff as well as coaching emerging leaders and is able to bring her own experiences and wisdom to help develop and improve personal skills and management style. Motivational leadership lies at the heart of her success, providing a clear vision and promoting a collaborative and positive working environment
