About Original Flava

Shaun and Craig McAnuff are the dynamic duo behind Original Flava, a brand dedicated to celebrating authentic Caribbean cuisine. Growing up in South London, their love for food was inspired by their Jamaican heritage, leading them to launch Original Flava in 2016 as an online platform to showcase the depth of Jamaican cooking beyond jerk chicken.

Now, nearly a decade on, they have established restaurant residencies in Brixton, Peckham, and Richmond, with more in the pipeline. Their success includes three bestselling cookbooks, a social media following of nearly 1 million, a weekly reach of 8.5 million, and over 100 million views of their vibrant, accessible recipes.

Their engaging content and brand-friendly approach have led to collaborations with M&S, Guinness, Le Creuset, and Grace Foods. Taking Original Flava on the road, they’ve hosted sold-out supper clubs across the UK, from Bristol to Birmingham, Leeds, and Manchester.

As sought-after speakers, Shaun and Craig inspire the next generation of chefs with their passion for food and culture. Regular faces on television, they have appeared on Sky Sports, Sunday Brunch, and Mary Berry’s Love To Cook, making them an exciting and influential force in modern food media.
