About Dr Rupy Aujla

As the founder of ‘The Doctor’s Kitchen,’ Dr Rupy creates healthy and inspiring recipes using carefully selected ingredients. He explains the clinical research behind them and shares them across his media platforms, including Instagram, Podcast, Website, YouTube, and Facebook. His Sunday Times bestselling books, including The Doctor’s Kitchen and Eat to Beat Illness, are a testament to his dedication to educating and inspiring people to take control of their health through nutrition.

Dr Rupy is also an accomplished speaker and has worked with some of the biggest brands in business, including TESCO, Pollen + Grace, SAP Concur, M&S, and the BBC. He is available for live cooking demonstrations, panel discussions, and speaker events, both in-person and virtually.

Beyond his work in the kitchen and on stage, Dr Rupy is also a regular on TV shows like This Morning, Saturday Kitchen, and BBC Morning Live. He recently hosted a prime-time TV show for Channel 4 with Prue Leith called Cook Clever Waste Less and has been commissioned to work on two series for the BBC – both featured on BBC Food and BBC iPlayer – Cooking in The Doctor’s Kitchen & Thrifty Cooking in The Doctor’s Kitchen.

Dr Rupy’s passion for health and wellness extends beyond his own practice, as he is also the founding director of Culinary Medicine, a non-profit organisation that teaches doctors and medical students the foundations of nutrition and how to cook. He is an accomplished TEDx speaker and has given talks on the importance of food as medicine.

In January 2022, Dr Rupy launched an exciting new app for The Doctor’s Kitchen, helping users improve their health using food with research-backed recipes tailored to health goals.
