About Victoria Milligan

Victoria Milligan is an extraordinary motivational speaker whose life was transformed on 5 May 2013 when a devastating speedboat accident killed her husband Nicko and daughter Emily, and left Victoria an amputee and the sole parent to her three surviving children. Facing unimaginable loss, she rebuilt her life step by step, learning to walk, run and ski on a prosthetic leg, while navigating overwhelming grief.

Her story is one of profound resilience, powered by a fierce maternal instinct and a belief in positivity over adversity. Victoria openly shares the physical and emotional challenges of trauma, the slow process of setting small achievable goals, and the importance of appreciating life in its simplest moments. She proves that while tragedy shapes us, it does not have to define us.

A regular contributor to ITV’s Lorraine and This Morning, Victoria also writes for The Sunday Times, The Times, Good Housekeeping, The Daily Mail and You Magazine. She supports charities including the Child Bereavement UK and the RNLI, using her platform to help others feel less alone in their grief.

Authentic, warm and deeply moving, Victoria Milligan delivers unforgettable talks on grief, strength, mindset, self-worth, and the power of taking life one step at a time. Her sessions inspire audiences to rethink what resilience truly means—and to never take a single moment for granted.
