How to book a motivational speaker

When you are booking a Motivational Speaker, it is important to find one who can speak in a style that motivates your particular audience leaving a lasting impression. They generally talk about self-improvement, goals, overcoming adversity and other personal growth topics.

The Speakers Agency works with a huge number of motivational speakers. This means we can take a lot of the leg work out of the process for you.

Learn how our simple process works:

  1. Share your brief

Prepare a brief as comprehensive as possible. The more information you can include here about your event, the better. This will enable us to narrow the speaker selection right down to the most suitable speakers. Additional information such as any plans to record the speech, and what marketing, if any, is planned.

Your brief should include things like:

Audience

– Male / female split

– Demographics

– Job functions

– Number of attendees

Budget

We offer motivational speakers who range from £2,000 to £200,000, so it’s important to give us an indication of the budget you are working to so we can recommend the most appropriate speakers to fit this.

Date and Time

Format i.e., Live, Virtual or Hybrid

Desired outcome of the event

  1. Review the shortlist

Once The Speakers Agency has received your brief, we will go away and find a selection of appropriate speakers for your event.  We ensure that the speakers we recommend fit with your budget and objectives. Furthermore, we will provide you with links to their speaker profiles so you have all the info required about each speaker.

  1. Confirm the booking

When you confirm your choice of speaker, we will send you and the speaker booking contracts to confirm the booking. Once this is done, we will work closely with you to arrange everything you need for the smooth running of the event, such as event logistics and briefing calls.

A maximum 30-minute briefing call with the speaker can be booked at a time which is mutually convenient. The call can only be scheduled once the booking has been signed. This gives you the opportunity to talk to the speaker directly about the audience and the specific things that are likely to motivate them and leave a lasting impact on them.

If you are looking to book a motivational speaker, please email enquiries@thespeakersagency.com or call us on +44 (0) 1332 810481.

*On certain occasions, usually for a very high-profile speaker, we will require you to sign an Firm Offer Form in advance, which is slightly different to our usual Booking Form. In simple terms, this commits you to the booking at a slightly earlier stage than signing a normal Booking Contract.

It serves as a formal and binding offer to the speaker and lets them know that if they accept the invitation to speak or host, this is essentially a done deal that you are already committed to proceeding with. In most cases, this is not necessary, but do not hesitate to ask one of our friendly booking agents if you would like further clarity on how this works!
