About Lisa Ventura

Lisa Ventura is a recognised cyber security expert, author and advocate, best known as the Founder of Cyber Security Unity, a global community dedicated to raising awareness, fostering collaboration and helping organisations tackle the growing cyber threat. A respected thought leader in the industry, she is a regular keynote speaker and panellist at cyber security, technology and business events worldwide.

An award-winning author and commentator, Lisa has contributed to a range of leading publications including Infosecurity Magazine, Counter Terror Business Magazine and Europa Business Magazine. She is also the author of The Rise of the Cyber Women and The Varied Origins of the Cyber Men, which explore the diverse backgrounds and experiences of professionals working in cyber security.

Alongside her work in the industry, Lisa serves on the Advisory Boards of the West Midlands Cyber Resilience Centre and the International Cyber Security Expo, and is a judge for the Cyber OSPA Awards. She is a passionate advocate for diversity, inclusion and neurodiversity in technology, drawing on her own experience as an autistic professional to champion greater opportunities for neurodivergent talent in cyber security.
