About Jaega Wise

Under Jaega’s leadership, Wild Card Brewery was named Best Brewery Business of the Year 2023 by the Society of Independent Brewers. She has also been named Brewer of the Year twice by the British Guild of Beer Writers and was recognised as one of Waitrose Food magazine’s “Ten Most Influential Women in Food”.

Alongside her brewing career, Jaega is an experienced television and radio presenter with a broad range of credits across food, science and history programming. Since 2019, she has been a regular presenter on BBC Radio 4’s The Food Programme and co-hosted Beer Masters alongside James Blunt for Prime Video UK.

Her television appearances have also included Food Unwrapped, Steph’s Packed Lunch, Abandoned Engineering and Medieval Pleasures, reflecting her ability to communicate complex subjects in an engaging and accessible way.

Passionate about diversity and representation within the drinks and hospitality industries, Jaega is a strong advocate for women working in brewing and continues to campaign on issues affecting the wider sector. As a speaker and presenter, she brings expertise, warmth and humour to conversations around food and drink, entrepreneurship, science, sustainability and modern brewing culture.
