About Sharmadean Reid

A successful entrepreneur, Sharmadean is renowned as the founder of The Stack World, a new media company with a global community of over 20,000 mission driven women, the global phenomenon WAH Nails and the beauty platform Beautystack. Her first book, New Methods for Women is published by Penguin Life in June 2024.

Sharmadean is a regular contributor to Elle UK and BBC Women’s Hour, and collaborates with several luxury brands including Selfridges and the Rosewood Hotel Group on campaigns relating to ambitious and high growth female consumers. She also works closely with governing bodies, venture capitalists and media platforms to help more women obtain business funding and take on leadership roles.

Awarded a British Empire Medal for services to women in 2015, Sharmadean was named Veuve Clicquot Bold Woman of the Year, Barclays Entrepreneur Icon of the Year, and a Marie Claire Future shaper. An honorary fellow of the University of the Arts, London, Sharmadean holds a First-Class degree from Central St Martins.
