Samantha Johnson is part of the FIFA family and had the prestigious role of co-hosting 2022 World Cup Draw, watched by tens of millions of television viewers across the globe. She’s also hosted the FIFA 2022 World Cup, European and Intercontinental Play-Off draws, the 2020 Tokyo Olympic Football draw, 2022 Club World Cup draw and the 2021 Futsal World Cup draw, as well as presenting FIFA’s Living Football magazine Show.
Samantha Johnson currently presents flagship sports programmes for TRT World in Istanbul, she has worked with Eurosport, BeIN Sports, and Sky Sports and has covered the 2019 FIFA Women’s World Cup, 2016 and 2020 UEFA European Championships and the 2020 Turkish Grand Prix. Alongside her current anchoring duties, Samantha secures exclusive interviews and produces long form features.
In recognition of her achievements in the media industry, Samantha has been featured in the PowerList’s ‘Top 20 of Britain’s Most Influential People Under 40’. Away from the world of sport, Samantha works closely with UN Women and has hosted and moderated the launch of their initiative ‘Awake Not Sleeping’
