About Poorna Bell
Poorna is an expert at presenting in a number of formats, including, panel sessions, chairing conferences and keynote speaking. Most importantly she has delivered keynotes for a variety of international corporations. These include Spotify, Twitter and Ernst & Young. She also speaks about the changing face of the digital world, how the online world is shaping debate around identity and seeking business solutions for audience growth. Likewise she has spoken at and facilitated many mental health and wellness events. Moreover, she has spoken on mental health for the NHS and at the Global Ministerial Mental Health Summit.
The former UK Executive Editor and Global Lifestyle Head for HuffPost, Poorna now works as a freelance journalist and editor. She writes for The Guardian, Red magazine, Stylist, Grazia, Women’s Health, The Debrief and the Daily Telegraph.
A regular guest on TV and radio her appearances include BBC 5Live and BBC Radio 4. Additionally, she is also a regular guest on podcasts, including Fearne Cotton’s Happy Place and The Book of Man with Professor Green.

Outside of work, Poorna is an avid weightlifter. She says the sport is responsible for helping her throughout her grief after her husband died. That is to say lifting provided her with physical and mental strength along with body confidence and resilience.

As a result of her work in the fitness space and position within the diversity and female empowerment conversation has resulted in a number of high-profile collaborations with brands including NatWest, Sweaty Betty and Sport England’s This Girl Can campaign.
