Ola Labib
Influential pioneer Ola Labib is the only Black, Muslim, female, Sudanese comic currently performing in the UK. Ola is best known for her infectious charm, edgy comedy material and wry humour. Her charming presence and engaging stories are inspired by both her strict Islamic and traditional African upbringing.
About Ola Labib
Ola’s mission to smash stereotypes and expectations through stand up means that she has already gained serious ground with a podium finish at the 2021 Funny Women Awards, multiple TV and radio appearances and she was the first black, Sudanese, Muslim woman to perform onstage at the O2 Arena.
For corporate events, Ola is hugely in demand for hosting, performances of her stand-up comedy, and also as a Diversity and Inclusion speaker and panellist.
Her corporate experience includes appearing at events such as the Anti-Racist Practice in Health and Social Care Conference, Channel 4’s Diversity and Inclusion Festival, UKTV Eid Celebration and the National Education Union, and many more.
As well as event hosting and stand-up comedy, Ola is available to speak on the following topics:
- Race
