With a career spanning theatre, television, and comedy, Neil Hurst is a true showbiz all-rounder. A natural storyteller with razor-sharp wit, Neil is the perfect after-dinner speaker, bringing an evening of laughter, behind-the-scenes showbiz tales, and infectious energy to any event. Neil cut his teeth in comedy and variety shows, sharing the stage with legends such as Bruce Forsyth, Bob Monkhouse, Jimmy Tarbuck, Ken Dodd, and Cannon & Ball. His ability to entertain and engage an audience has made him a firm favourite in theatre, TV, and film, and he is also an award-winning pantomime star, headlining the annual Hull New Theatre panto to sold-out audiences.
About Neil Hurst
On stage, Neil has starred in major productions, including the UK tours of Hairspray, The Full Monty, and Fat Friends the Musical, as well as the arena tour of Early Doors Live. His TV career has seen him take on both comedic and dramatic roles in household favourites such as All Creatures Great and Small, Coronation Street, Casualty, The Syndicate, and Fresh Meat. He has also been a regular improvisational performer on Michael McIntyre’s Big Show, setting up the famous Unexpected Star of the Show moments.
Beyond the UK, Neil’s talents have taken him across the Atlantic, where he hosted a US television pilot for Food Network, travelling the States, sampling local delicacies, and immersing himself in small-town America. His versatility extends to writing, having co-scripted multiple theatre productions and a TV comedy pilot.
