Mike Bates
Mike Bates is a former counter-terrorism covert operations leader and human intelligence specialist, he is now an entrepreneur and adventurer. He served 20 years in the Royal Marines and MOD, led elite teams, and became the fastest solo Brit to complete the Talisker Whiskey Atlantic Challenge. A Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu black belt, he inspires others through philanthropy and public speaking.

As the first officer in the history of the MOD to pass all relevant requirements to serve at the front line of the UK’s counter terror response, Mike’s life undercover gave him a powerful and credible perspective on the human psyche.
