Jane Barnes, a farmer's wife, a mother, an educator and business partner for 30 years with her husband Mark and son Harry, runs a successful dairy farm near Melton Mowbray. Milking twice daily their herd of 300 Ayrshire and Friesian cows and rearing 150 calves every year, they produce 2 million litres of milk for the local Stilton Cheese manufacturer.
