About Frank Bruno

Frank’s boxing career was one of the most exciting and well-publicised of his era. He faced multiple top-rated heavyweights, including Mike Tyson and fellow Briton Lennox Lewis. However, it was in 1995 that Frank achieved his dream of becoming World Champion, defeating Oliver McCall at a packed Wembley Stadium.

Outside of the ring, Frank has faced his own challenges with mental health. In 2003, he was diagnosed with Bipolar disorder. However, Frank has used his status and his platform to help change perceptions that surround mental health. He campaigns for higher standards of care given to those suffering with mental health issues, and supports charities in any way he can. He is also the Founder of the Frank Bruno Foundation.

In his fireside chats and Q&A sessions, Frank talks openly and honestly about his battles with mental health issues. He shares his story with passion, humor, and humility. He inspires his audiences to be open about their own mental health challenges, and to seek help if they need it.

Frank is a true champion, both in and out of the ring. He is a role model for people of all ages, and his story is one of hope and resilience.
