Russell Howard is one of the UK’s most successful live comedians whose tour venues include the Royal Albert Hall, Wembley Arena and the Manchester Evening News Arena. His 2017 tour, ‘Round the World’ was performed at venues spanning 11 countries across 3 continents. His tour success led to its release as a Netflix Special ‘Recalibrate’.

Russell Howard is best-known for his own hit BBC show ‘Russell Howard’s Good News’. He has released multiple bestselling DVDs, toured the globe and is a regular on ‘Mock The Week’. Russell’s quick wit and charming style will be a memorable experience for any audience, and is highly sought after for corporate comedy sets, dinners or as an awards host.

Biography

Russell Howard is the writer and star of of his own BBC Three show, Russell Howard’s Good News. The hit show’s debut run was the most requested BBC Three programme on iPlayer at the time, and the channel’s most successful studio-based entertainment show ever, drawing in 2.5 million viewers a week. From 2009 to 2015 Russell wrote and stared in 96 episodes of Rusell Howard’s Good News. Its success led to a new home on BBC Two for its 9th and 10th seasons, where is averaged over 3 million viewers per episode.

He also has two bestselling DVDs to his name, 2008’s Russell Howard Live and 2009’s Russell Howard Live – Dingledodies, both of which were the fifth highest selling stand up titles of their respective years.

In addition to being a regular on Mock The Week (BBC Two’s highest rating comedy show, which has seen viewing figures of over 5 million per week), Russell has twice appeared on Live At The Apollo (BBC ONE) alongside some of the biggest names in comedy; and cycled from John O’Groats to Lands End alongside David Walliams, Jimmy Carr, Fearne Cotton, Davina McCall, Miranda Hart and Patrick Kielty for BBC Sport Relief.
