How to book a diversity speaker

Finding the perfect person can be no easy feat when booking a speaker. Here at The Speakers Agency, we are here to help guide you through this process, making your booking a smooth, easy process so that you can sit back, relax, and wait excitedly for your event.

As an agency, we are well versed in dealing with clients and speakers day in, day out. We have forged strong relationships with some of the most sought-after speakers in the circuit, which has allowed us to flourish as an agency in business for over 20 years.

When booking a diversity speaker, follow the simple steps below to make your experience as smooth as possible.

Step 1.

Decide whether you know which specific diversity speaker you would like for your event or if you would like The Speakers Agency to make some appropriate suggestions.

If you have browsed our website and found a specific speaker who whets your appetite and whom you think is perfect for your event, then you are more than welcome to send an enquiry for that specific person only. Providing they are within your fee bracket and are available on the date, we can then get the ball rolling on booking that speaker.

However, if you are a little less certain about which specific diversity speaker you would like to book for your event, then The Speakers Agency are here to help. Once you have determined the nature of your event and what broad topic or theme you would like to cover, The Speakers Agency can provide you with some suggestions. At this point, it is highly important that you can provide us with your available budget, since this will dictate which appropriate speakers we can suggest.

Step 2.

Once we have sent you over our suggestions for diversity speakers which suit your brief, you can review the shortlist and decide which of the suggestions you prefer. In the unlikely event that none of the speakers suggested tickle your fancy, we are always more than happy to get back to you with alternative options. We have hundreds of speakers listed on our roster, so it is never too much trouble to provide you with alternative choices!

Step 3.

Once you have confirmed which speaker you would like, we will finalise the booking with you, liaising with all parties to make sure everything is in place for your event.

If you are looking to book a diversity speaker, please email enquiries@thespeakersagency.com or call us on +44 (0) 1332 810481.

*On certain occasions, usually for a very high-profile speaker, we will require you to sign a Firm Offer Form in advance which is slightly different to our usual Booking Form. In simple terms, this commits you to the booking at a slightly earlier stage than signing a normal Booking Contract. It serves as a formal and binding offer to the speaker and lets them know that if they accept the invitation to speak or host, this is essentially a done deal that you are already committed to proceeding with. In most cases, this is not necessary, but do not hesitate to ask one of our friendly booking agents if you would like further clarity on how this works!
