About Harry Hill

Harry Hill first became known on TV with three series of the Broadcast Award-winning Channel 4 series ‘Harry Hill‘. He has since gone on to become one of comedy’s biggest TV faces. Harry had firmly planted himself in the prime-time television schedule with his hit show ‘TV Burp’ (ITV1), with audiences topping 8 million.

Biography

Harry Hill’s TV Burp has won three BAFTA’s in the UK, a special L.A. BAFTA, two British Comedy Awards and the converted Rose d’Or Award at the Montreux International Television Festival. Harry is also the voice behind the successful reinvigoration of ITV1’s ‘You’ve Been Framed’ series and is one of the few modern comics to have delivered ‘An Audience With…’ (ITV1). Harry also created the children’s show ‘Shark Infested Custard’ for CiTV (ITV1).

Harry’s other TV appearances include ‘Celebrity Stars in their Eyes’ as Morrissey (ITV1), the ‘Royal Variety Performance’ (BBC One), ‘Celebrity Who Wants to be a Millionaire’ (ITV1), ‘Room 101’ (BBC Two) and was honoured with a show on ‘This is Your Life’. Across the Atlantic Harry has appeared on the legendary ‘Late Show with David Letterman’ (CBS) seven times.

Harry Hill’s Books

The Success of ‘Harry Hill’s Whopping Joke Book’ (Faber) made him the best-selling children’s author of 2008 and was followed by the hugely successful ‘Harry Hill’s TV Burp Book’ (Ebury) in 2009. Other writing credits include:, ‘Flight from Deathrow’, (Time Warner) and his children’s books ‘Further Adventures of the Queen Mum’, ‘Tim The Tiny Horse’ and ‘Tim The Tiny Horse At Large’ (Faber and Faber). In 2010 Harry released his comedy show business diary ‘Livin’ The Dream’ (Faber).
