Tracey Follows

An in-demand keynote speaker, Tracey has delivered talks at the United Nations, FT’s Global Boardroom, Cannes Lions and Fortune’s Brainstorm AI, bringing sharp foresight and actionable insights to businesses and policymakers grappling with the profound changes of our time.

She is the author of the pioneering book The Future of You: Can Your Identity Survive 21st Century Technology?, which explores how emerging technologies are redefining personal identity. These ideas are further explored in her award-winning podcast of the same name, winner of Best Technology Show at the Independent Podcast Awards 2023.

Tracey’s career spans influential roles across business, technology and academia. She was Jury President at the Cannes Lions Festival of Creativity in 2019, Jury President for Innovation and Creative Data at Eurobest in 2018, and is currently Co-Chair of the Cross Technology working group on Virtual Worlds and AI, launched by ITU in collaboration with the UN International Computing Centre and Digital Dubai. She has worked extensively with major tech firms including Meta, Amazon, Snapchat and Google, advised on platforms like Richard Branson’s Future Visions, and served on the advisory board of Martha Lane-Fox’s thinktank DotEveryone. She currently sits on the advisory board of the Lifeboat Foundation.

In addition to her consultancy and advisory work, Tracey is Visiting Professor in Digital Futures & Identity at Staffordshire University, a guest lecturer at London Business School, and an Associate Fellow of the World Academy of Art & Science. She also writes a regular column on AI for Forbes.

A frequent commentator for the BBC, The Times and the Financial Times, Tracey bridges technological foresight with societal impact, helping organisations navigate uncertainty, understand the future of identity, and seize the opportunities of transformational change.
