Testimonials

"Professor Luckin offered deep insight into both the opportunities and the risks posed by large language models in education. She underlined the importance of “Learning Fast, Acting More Slowly”: a call to engage actively with AI, but to implement its use with care, strategy, and ethical responsibility. An approach that strongly aligns with my own views. It was a privilege to learn from her, her team, particularly Dr. Madiha Khan and the many inspiring attendees. I left the workshop not only better informed but more determined than ever to play an active role in shaping a future of education that places human learning and wellbeing at its heart."

Ana Palma, Academic Manager, Kaplan International College, London

"I wanted to learn from someone who combines AI and education (when research suggests it is prudent) and who always puts the learner first.  It exceeded my expectations. Rose is well known and speaks in plain English about complex topics. However I was nevertheless impressed with her ability to paraphrase and identify themes in the group activities. An unexpected outcome was the quality of the other attendees and their contributions. The workshop was designed to capitalise on their experiences and desired impacts, but it is always a gamble. In this case, it paid off.  I also really liked how the focus was on change management. In an era of constant flux, providing people with tools such as the logic model is one of the best future-proof approaches we can adopt."

James Haworth, Head of Digital Learning, Dukes Education Spain

"By far the most useful AI CPD I have been to so far. Also, brilliantly facilitated - venue, layout, size of cohort, area of London etc. Would love to come back together as a group, and yes, very much value for money."

Lucy Moorehead, Assistant Head (Staff Development), James Allen Girls' School (JAGS)

"Beyond my expectations, it really was the best course I have attended to date on AI and very accessible. It has inspired me to go into our break wanting to create a clearer strategy and policy.  I would go so far as saying it was worth flying across to the UK and getting stuck [at Heathrow]! The group size was also perfect, any bigger I think we would have missed the excellent contributions from others. It would be great for each cohort to have an online space to carry on discussions, almost creating a support group to share."

Dee Saran, Deputy Head Teaching and Learning, Dubai College

"The session absolutely met my expectations, not just from the fantastic resources such as AI risk assessments, implementation guides and the 4D strategy, but also facilitated by fantastic discourse around the different approaches schools are taking, the tools people are using, and the pitfalls to avoid based on other’s experience. I would highly recommend it to any staff member who is responsible for AI strategy in schools or looking to upskill their understanding of the practical, ethical and pedagogical implications of implementing AI in their school or MAT setting."
