Phoebe Schecter
Phoebe Schecter broke new ground for women in sport when she joined the Buffalo Bills as a Tight Ends Coach for the 2018 season, having previously worked on 2 training camps with the franchise. About Phoebe Schecter
Representing Great Britain for the women’s American football team as a Linebacker and serving as the Team Captain for the past 6 years, Schecter’s passion for football completely encompasses her life. Schecter is currently Women’s Development Officer for British American Football Coaches Association (BAFCA), Chair of the Diversity & Inclusion Committee for British American Football Association (BAFA), and IFAF Athlete Representative for the International Olympic Committee (IOC).
Schecter is managing director of the U.K. Dukes, where she implements long term business strategies to develop and grow American football outside of the US. Also as an active supporter of women in sport, Phoebe works with The Female Coaching Network and is a global ambassador for NFL Flag, a non-contact form of the sport. Phoebe is also a speaker for companies such as Visa, Women in Sport, UK Coaching and more.
Phoebe is in high demand as an event host and speaker, covering topics such as Diversity & Inclusion and Managing Teams as well as drawing on her experiences as a woman in a predominantly male industry.
Phoebe continues to break new ground as the UK’s foremost female pundit on the NFL as a leading member of the Sky Sports presentation team. She is also a regular guest on talkSPORT and the BBC.
When not talking or playing American Football, Phoebe has a passion for horses (she studied Equine Business Management at university) and her sense of adventure and trying new experiences has led her to travel extensively. She also finds time to captain England’s kabaddi team in international competition!
