About Marian Evans
Marian Evans rose to unwanted fame when the secret got out about her buying her childhood dream property Llansteffan Castle and Plas Farm. This was later featured on a TV documentary that followed her and her family’s life on S4C called Teulu’r Castell. Marian is unique in the way that she captures the hearts and minds of her audience humbly sharing her story from being a welsh farmer’s daughter to a multi-millionaire self made business person and property investor.
Work ethic and winning was drummed into Marian at such a young age with her rushing home excited to tell her beloved father she had run a race at school and come in second.
To which he responded : “Second place is the first loser.”
This fired up something in Marian that would never be extinguished making her determined to always win whatever race there was with herself. Target driven and working with circles of focus, to use everything to her advantage meant there was no space for second place.
The success that could have made her lofty was kept grounded by her farm working roots and her imposter syndrome which she continues to rally against by being brave.
A highly credible coach with an exceptional volume of qualifications, recent awards include: Winner of Inspirational Woman of the Decade (WIB Awards) and Mentor of the Year (WIFA Awards) Marian is a multi-award-winning business owner, Fellow of the Institute of Leadership & Management and Fellow of the Chartered Management Institute, director and Non-Executive Director.
With a background in Financial services having previously headed up Thomas Carrol Special Risks Division and climbed the ranks at NFU Mutual where she became both one of the industries youngest and only individuals to be both a Chartered Insurer and Chartered Broker and an award-winning Sales Manager responsible for a book of business of £58million.
A formidable Property Investor her fascination for which began at 18, Marian is also the founder of Elevate Business Consultancy and Forbes Business Council member. In her capacity as Elevate BC MD and qualified Executive Coach and Facilitator Marian works with some exceptional leaders of the UK’s top organisations and government.
Throughout all of this Marian lives with pernicious anaemia an autoimmune condition. She has learnt that in order to go for the goals in life, you must elevate your wellbeing needs first and then drive forward.
Marian champions wellbeing routines and discipline in high performing individuals and runs the most incredible retreats at Llansteffan Castle for hand picked quality circles. Marian recognises and understands an unquenched thirst she sees in high performers, an intellect and boredom that requires challenge.
She is passionate about inspiring people to smash through the limits that they have created for themselves. Marian wants to help people who feel they are being held back and know that they are meant for something bigger.
