About Liv Boeree
With a first-class degree in astrophysics, Liv combined her scientific curiosity with a love for strategy to become one of the world’s most successful poker players. Nicknamed the “Iron Maiden,” she holds both European Poker Tour and World Series of Poker championship titles and amassed over $4 million in career earnings. She was ranked the #1 female poker player globally from 2014 to 2016 and is celebrated as the only woman to win both championships.
