About Greg Davies
Greg Davies is probably best known as the psychotic Head of Sixth Form Mr. Gilbert in Channel 4’s ‘The Inbetweeners’. Interestingly ‘The Inbetweeners Movie’, in which he also appeared is one of the highest grossing British comedy of all time. His impressive TV career also includes hosting ‘Never Mind The Buzzcocks’ and ‘Live at the Apollo’ ‘Mock The Week’ and ‘Man Down’ with the late Rik Mayall.
Greg Davies’ debut solo stand up show ‘Firing Cheeseballs At A Dog’ delighted audiences at the Edinburgh Festival with tales of his childhood and his former teaching career. The show was nominated for a Foster’s Edinburgh Comedy Award which led to a thrice extended sell-out national tour. His follow up show, ‘The Back Of My Mum’s Head’, toured extensively.
Greg took on the role of the ‘Taskmaster’, in the series of the same name. It was commissioned by UK TV’s Dave channel and was devised by and starred fellow comedian Alex Horne.
He was also one third of the anarchically brilliant sketch act ‘We Are Klang’, who have performed four critically acclaimed sell-out Edinburgh Festival shows, and in 2006 were nominated for the Edinburgh Comedy Award. With ‘We Are Klang’, Greg wrote and starred in the groups own sitcom series for BBC Three. In spring 2007 Klang wrote and performed their own radio show for BBC4 Extra and returned to appear on Paramount Comedy Channel’s ‘Edinburgh & Beyond’ stand up series for their second consecutive year.
In 2018 Greg hosted the Royal Varity performance Gala (ITV) at the London Palladium in front of HRH the Duke and Duchess of Sussex. Most recently, he has written and stars in a macabre sitcom ‘The Cleaner’ where he plays a crime scene cleaner.
Testimonials
"Greg was great"
William Reed
"Greg was really fantastic. His comedy was great and pitched at just the right level (not too rude / not too tame) for the crowd. He also got a good balance of being a bit cheeky to our suppliers but making sure they all left loving him. Our guests definitely thought he was a success!"

"Please thank Greg & Ed [Gamble], they were both brilliant. Ed really worked the stage and hosted so well and Greg had the audience in stitches for his set. My own Director was telling me today how hard he laughed! Thank you for making it such a smooth booking and look forward to working with you again on something else in the future."
