About Adam Thomas

From 2009 to 2018, Adam was a fan-favourite on ITV’s Emmerdale as Adam Barton, with additional TV credits including Casualty and a stage role in Nativity! The Musical at the Empire Theatre. In 2016, he won over the nation as a contestant on I’m a Celebrity… Get Me Out of Here!, finishing third place, later returning to co-host I’m a Celebrity: Extra Camp alongside Joel Dommett and Emily Atack.

Adam’s television journey has also taken him into factual entertainment, starring in Absolutely India: Mancs in Mumbai (ITV) alongside his brothers Ryan and Scott, exploring their heritage. In 2023, he took to the Strictly Come Dancing ballroom, finishing in 8th place.

Beyond acting and presenting, Adam is an entrepreneur and restaurateur, running Oh My Glaze, a successful food brand with a flagship store in the Trafford Centre. He is also the co-host of two hit podcasts – Mancs on the Mic, where he shares hilarious and heartfelt moments with his brothers, and the Waterloo Road podcast with co-star Priyasasha Kumari.

Adam has partnered with some of the UK’s biggest brands, including Gillette, McDonald’s, TalkTalk, Fairy, Sainsbury’s, and Oreo, and serves as an ambassador for Sky.
