Natasha Kaplinsky OBE

Natasha Kaplinsky OBE has been a familiar face on British television for more than two decades, building a reputation as one of the country’s most trusted broadcasters.

After beginning her career in political communications, Natasha moved into broadcasting with Meridian Television before progressing to presenting roles with Carlton, Sky News, the BBC and Channel 5. She co-presented BBC Breakfast before becoming one of the principal anchors of the BBC’s Six O’Clock News, later moving to Channel 5 to front Five News with Natasha Kaplinsky.

Alongside her news broadcasting work, Natasha has presented a wide range of high-profile television programmes and live events, including Children in Need, The Proms, New Year Live and Making Your Mind Up. She also won the first series of Strictly Come Dancing, introducing her to an even wider audience and cementing her status as one of the UK’s best-known television personalities.

Her work has been recognised with numerous accolades, including TV Personality of the Year and Newscaster of the Year. Today, she serves as President of the British Board of Film Classification (BBFC) and Chair of its Board of Directors.
