About June Sarpong OBE
A respected thought leader on diversity, leadership and social mobility, June is the author of several bestselling books, including Diversify: Six Degrees of Integration, The Power of Women and The Power of Privilege. Her work combines research, practical insight and real-world experience to help organisations create cultures where people and businesses thrive.
Alongside her corporate work, June has enjoyed a distinguished broadcasting career spanning more than 25 years. She has presented and appeared across the BBC, ITV, Sky News and Channel 4, and has interviewed world leaders, politicians, entrepreneurs and celebrities. From 2015 to 2020, she co-hosted Sky News’ flagship current affairs programme The Pledge.
June is also the co-founder of the Women: Inspiration & Enterprise Network (WIE), a global community of more than 200,000 women that has featured speakers including Melinda Gates, Arianna Huffington, Queen Rania and Nancy Pelosi. She is an ambassador for London Tech Week and has worked closely with organisations including the United Nations and The King’s Trust.
Awarded an MBE in 2007 and an OBE in 2020 for services to diversity and the creative industries, June has been recognised as one of the UK’s most influential voices on inclusion.
