Frank first rose to prominence on the stand-up circuit after winning comedy’s most prestigious prize, the Perrier Award, at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe in 1991. Since then, he has become one of Britain’s best-known comedy talents, performing sold-out tours across the UK including his acclaimed shows Showbiz and 30 Years of Dirt, alongside celebrated West End runs at London’s Garrick Theatre.
A highly experienced television host and presenter, Frank created and fronted The Frank Skinner Show, widely credited with helping shape the modern comedy chat show format. Alongside David Baddiel, he also created and presented the hugely successful Fantasy Football League and Baddiel & Skinner Unplanned. Together with The Lightning Seeds, the pair co-wrote the iconic football anthem Three Lions, one of the UK’s most recognisable sporting songs.
Frank’s extensive television and radio credits include Room 101, Frank Skinner’s Opinionated, Portrait Artist of the Year, Landscape Artist of the Year and numerous documentaries for the BBC and Sky Arts. His long-running radio career includes Frank Skinner’s Poetry Podcast and his Absolute Radio show, which earned multiple ARIA awards and led to his induction into the Radio Academy Hall of Fame.
