About Matt Prior

Matt spent more than 20 years in professional sport, competing and leading in environments where individual performance and collective success were closely linked. His England career offers a first-hand perspective on the preparation, commitment and relationships behind successful teams, as well as the pressures of performing on an international stage.

Since retiring from cricket, Matt has built and led businesses across sport, media and consumer brands, including serving as CEO of O+A Sports Group. This experience allows him to consider leadership from both a sporting and commercial perspective, exploring how principles developed in competitive sport translate into business.

Today, Matt works across broadcasting, speaking, leadership development, commercial partnerships and advisory roles. For event audiences, he draws these strands together to discuss how organisations can strengthen teamwork, respond to setbacks and create the conditions for sustained performance. His combination of sporting achievement and business experience makes him relevant to leadership events, team development sessions and conferences focused on performance and resilience.
