About Danny Care
Danny Care represented England at the 2015 and 2023 Rugby World Cups, as well as winning a silver medal at the Commonwealth Games. Danny announced his retirement from international rugby in 2024.
Alongside his playing career, Danny Care has built a strong profile in media, becoming a regular voice across rugby coverage. He has featured as a pundit and co-commentator for broadcasters TNT Sports and ITV, in addition to hosting the BBC’s Rugby Union Weekly podcast.
In 2024, Danny released his debut book, Everything Happens for a Reason – My Life in Rugby, sharing behind-the-scenes tales from his extraordinary career, which has spanned almost two decades, including the highs and lows from his remarkable rugby journey.
Off the pitch, Danny hosts the successful YouTube series Hit’s Different with Danny Care, where he interviews some of the biggest names in rugby, sport and popular culture. He has also fronted campaigns for global brands including Nike, L’Oréal, O2, Dove and Guinness.
